The Bad Boys of the Paranormal

If you are easily offend do NOT read

Some time in our mission to prove that ghost's exist we got labelled with the title "The bad boys of the paranormal or ghost hunting" and often on radio shows and magazines they like to bring this quota to light and ask why we have this title...

An interview with Steve Saint from G.H.T.UK

Q: Isn’t ghost hunting for geeks?

A: Generally yes, but in no way are we classed as geeks or tweed jacket wearing nut jobs. We have an interest in ghost hunting not just science. Give me a lone vigil in a castle by myself, just me and a Ouija board one candle and lets rawkkk..

Q: So you like to be scared or put in the front line?

A: Yes, we are the craziest bunch of dudes and chicks you will ever come across. Not just for ghost hunting but in life all of us in our team are pretty extreme. Whether it’s through our music in our beast of a band The Priory or the fact we treat our team like a chapter from a 1%er motor bike gang. We are not easily scared and are not bothered about giving the middle finger to society and sceptical people. WE DONT CONFORM. We are who we are and do what we want to do..

Q: So your rebels with a cause then?

A: You could say that. We are here to change the face of ghost hunting. We want the evidence as we know that there is such a thing as ghosts. The law to day makes ghost hunting teams conform to an entertainment licence as they state mediumship and ghost hunting is not real!! We say FUCK THEM... I say put one of the governments suite wearing cocaine sniffing cross dressing money fiddling freaks into  a haunted location with us for one night and we will show them that ghosts exist. We guarantee they will leave with tears in their eyes and a sleep issues for the rest of their life!

Q: Tell me about the band, as you are in quiet an offence hard rock band?

A: Yup that’s right, I am the lead singer, most of our older stuff is extremely offensive but our new stuff is totally different, we are still touching on religion and its  issues, war and all things depraved but now we aren’t just taking the piss, we generally are making killer music.

Ghost Hunter Team UK, Members files and History

About Ghost Hunter Team UK and Members

The team first set up in Essex back in 2000 when Steve was researching the Essex witchcraft trials and was asked to do a investigation with a Japanese TV show, Steve at the time declined but in his search for the witches of Old Essex he needed to use a different means of research and joined up with a local paranormal team. This led to the creation of G.H.T.UK.

As a research team we work close with other groups and writers in the paranormal field to help document findings.

The reason we different from allot of research team's is that we believe! Our team has not set out to shoot down every ghost image or EVP, recording we come across. We do have a sceptical mind and if we can we will try and explain and find out what the phenomena is. We believe, we have seen, we have heard and we have witnessed things that we as a team carnet explain. We pride our self in been different from most research team's.

History

Ghost Hunters Team UK first set up in 1992 but desapaired from the paranormal scene after a brake up in the group. It was re-born in Essex, England by Steve Taylor  in 1999 and has been going strong since. The team where happy to welcome writer and paranormal investigator Mike Hallowell to the team in 2008 and Ged Lynn Historian for G.H.T.UK

In 2008

The team relay came together in 2008 and worked on TV productions for ITV, Orian TV and The Discovery Chanel  with radio interviews and live radio ghost hunts, also featured in magazines and news papers and a real life documentary on Steve Taylor's Band The Priory 666 have catapulted the team into the main stream media, the team have also worked on a collection of paranormal DVD's that will be available in 2009 from HMV, Amazon and here on this site.

Just dont stepp on my tows and if you do expect to get bittin, as this dawg dont play ;)

Steve on Ghost Hunting

Well,  I believe there is two forms of ghost hunting. First we have the ghost hunters who I class as the believers and have witnessed something that they accept is paranormal or a ghost  or something that is not normal but still want to find out what it is. Then there is the Paranormal investigator who does not believe in ghosts and they say there is something there but every bit of evidence you submit they shoot down and every ghost image is fake!! Sound like you! I believe and I have seen and felt things that I can't explain but I just accept there is things out there I will never explain or understand but I accept this.

I very rarely take a camera ghost hunting as I do this for me and no one else. Some paranormal investigators want to record every little thing and to me there is no point, as it does not matter who you show it to they will never believe. Do it for you and no one else. Fuck the conformity!

Coop on Ghost Hunting:

I am not the worlds biggest ghost hunter, I just like to watch and here the stories but every now and again I do get involved and its to a level that I find extreme. I am a septic but I have experienced things that I can't explain and I have seen things that I was fully aware of and noted them to be paranormal.

The team class me as a sensitive as I seem to smell a lot of things and feel things in locations.

Mike on Ghost Hunting:

I think ghost hunting is split into 5 categories. First is the hobbyist and person who finds them self looking into and enjoying for there own pleasure. Then there is the entertainment ghost hunter, who if we had not all been watching them we would still be way behind with ghost hunting and haunted location. Then there is the dangerous ghost hunter who read one or tow books and thing they know every thing and then give out info as knowledge that is wrong and leaves the paranormal world in taters. Then there is the open minded sceptic who I don’t mined and work with, then there is the closed minded skeptic who I cant stand and don’t like to be around. I have seen and witnessed things from moving objects to poltergeist activity in all my years as a paranormal researcher and writer I know there is things in this world I cant explain but don’t tell me they don’t exist!.

I enjoy reading, computers, watching horror and sci-fi films and listening to extreme music as well as spending time with my family. I have played the drums off and on for the past 15 years and currently drum for the best band in the North East since Venom, Saint Massacre.

Trev on Ghost Hunting:

I have witnessed some very strange events but remain skeptical. I have spent the night investigating Newcastle Keep over 40 times in a space of 3 years due to the fact of witnessing and capturing on camera a rather peculiar mist like figure. I spent along time thinking about what I had witnessed and cannot explain it. I believe paranormal happenings do occur but it all boils down to the individuals perception of events thus making it a personal experience. I also believe it is just a matter of time before science will catch up and cast a lot of light on things that go bump in the night.

you show it to they will never believe. Do it for you and no one ells.

I also draw a picture of the site at any point in the past put together from information I've gained from photos, maps and descriptions.
